Love Card Giveaway 2021

Well hello there! I don’t know about you, but January seems like it just flew by and now I am feeling a little behind stepping into February. Are you gearing up for Valentine’s day? In our family we don’t like to go overly commercialized, but we do like to take the opportunity to show our love and appreciation for each other. This year I decided to create a love card giveaway that can help you share some joy and love with the most special people in your life!

Want to know why?

When I was a little girl, I always loved receiving Valentine’s cards. In school, we would design a shoe-box covered in construction paper and stickers with a slit carved into the top. At our Valentine’s party, our class would exchange little cards amongst each other and I would sort through mine for days enjoying the joy they brought me. But my favorite part of the holiday was receiving a special card from each of my parents with little love notes written inside. These are still some of my favorite keepsakes. As I got older, I really grew to appreciate the way receiving a thoughtful handwritten card made me feel. I started sending more and more cards to friends and family for various holidays and random occasions. I started collecting cards that I loved so that I could have them on hand when I wanted to send one!

That being said, I have to confess, I’ve become a bit of a card hoarder.

To me, nothing quite says “I love you” like the perfect card, but sometimes finding “the one” is easier said than done.

Seriously, why do the simplest tasks seem so daunting?

• Do you find yourself standing in the card aisle feeling overwhelmed with the number of choices?
  
• Do you have trouble finding the time to get to the store to grab the cards? (or you get to the store, but then totally forget to pick them out! UGH, guilty!)
